Zurück in Thailand - der Grenzübergang war recht schnell erledigt, diesmal haben wir 60 Tage Visa - unser Motorrad ein halbes Jahr! Da soll mal einer die Regeln kennen, aber wir freuen uns und nehmens hin. Noch ein paar letzte Tage zusammen mit Johan, dann wird er sich auf den Weg nach Bangkok machen, um seine Weiterreise nach Indien zu regeln und wir fahren in Richtung Süden.

Back into Thailand - the border crossing was nice and easy and this time we have 60 day visa and our bike gets half a year ! Well I don't know if anyone knows the rules here. We have a few last days with Johan before he goes to Bangkok to sort his further journey to India and we turn southwards

Ein halbes Jahr voller gemeinsamer Abenteuer ...... wir werden Johan oft vermissen

Erstes Ziel so ganz ohne Johan ist Kreach Krachan National Park - hier können wir endlich wieder in unserem Zelt schlafen und natur genießen. Für uns und unser Budget ist es die beste Lösung, Thailand von einem Nationalpark zum nächsten zu bereisen.

Im Samarn Bird Camp treffen wir auf 3 englische Vogelbeobachter, die uns für einen Tag mit auf Vogelsuchtour nehmen - wir verbringen hier eine schöne Woche.

Our first station we visit without Johan is Keach Krachan National Park - finally we are back in our tent and enjoy being close to nature. For us and our it is by far the best option to travel  around Thailand from one National Parc to the next.

In Samarn Bird Camp we meet 3 birders from Yorkshire who take us into the national park with them to go twitching for one day - that's loads of fun and we have a wonderful week here.

Zurück an der Küste fanden wir den perfekten Ort, um ein paar Tage auszuspannen - mit Balkon über dem Fluss, wo Kevin angeln konnte und Wlan für mich zum  Blog schreiben. Johan hat uns hier auch noch einmal für einige Tage besucht und so konnten wir Kevs Geburtstag gemeinsam feiern bevor wir uns wieder alle auf unseren eigenen Weg machten. Wir entlang der Küste bis wir dann südlich genug waren, um in Richtung Westküste abzubiegen. Immer auf der Suche nach Nationalparks.

Back at the coast we found the perfect place to stop for a while. Kev had a balcony over the river so he spent the days fishing and I had a working wifi to do some work on our blog. Johan also visited for a few days while he was waiting for visas and the shipping of his bike so we managed to celebrate Kevs birthday together before setting off on our own ways again. 

We meandereddown the coast until we were far enough to head across to the west coast - always looking for National Parks to pitch a tent.

Der erste Blick auf den Indischen Ozean - hier Andamansee genannt. Diese Küste wurde vor 10 Jahren von einer riesigen Tsunamiwelle überrollt. Damals war es eher eine Backpackergegend, heute nach dem Wiederaufbau sind hier überwiegend Pauschaltouristen zu finden, aber auch noch jede Menge traurige Überreste der Katastrohe und unser schönster Campingplatz bisher : Khao Lak National Park - eine Oase direkt neben dem überlaufenen Touristenort Khao Lak

Our first view of the Indian Ocean - which is called Andaman sea here. This coast was devastated by a huge Tsunami 10 years ago. Then you mostly found backpackers in this area but after rebuilding everything you find mostly all-inclusive-tourists here but also still quite a few ruins as reminders of this sad catastrophy and our nicest campsite up to now : Khao Lak National Park - an oasis right next to the tourist crammed town of Khao Lak
