Mit vielen Problemen beladen schleppen wir uns bis Perth in der Hoffnung hier alle Probleme lösen zu können, damit wir unser Papierkram und unser Gespann fit und munter es mit dem Rest des Kontinents aufnehmen können....Es kommt wie immer anders, aber wir verbringen eine wunderbare Zeit mit Ailsa, die uns als Couchsurfer aufnimmt und uns mit Rat, Tat und guter Laune zur Seite steht

Laden with problems we limp into Perth and hope we can solve them all here so that we can tackle this continent from here on free froml more paperwork and technical hickups.......

Things always turn out different to what you want but we still had a wonderful time with Ailsa who took us in through couch surfing and helped us where she could whith advice and always a laugh

Von Perth gehts nach Bridgetown, zu Nick und Stacey. Hier verbringen wir 3 Tage, an denen unsere Liza wieder dicht gemacht und noch so einiges mehr in Ordnung gebracht wird. Stacey hat den Garten in eine Parkanlage verwandelt und die Beiden sowie ihre Kinder sind einfach nur nett

From Perth we ride to Bridgetown to Nick and Stacey. We spend 3 days fixing oil leaks and quite a few more mechanical problems. Stacey has turned the fields around the house into a botanical garden and the whole family is absolutely amazing

Den halben Tag sind wir den Gewitterwolken gefolgt und haben es trotzdem trocken bis Jerramungup geschafft. Hier haben wir Harry und Jane getroffen, ein paar Tage mit den Beiden verbracht. Die Beiden sind einfach klasse. Harry hat unserem Hinterrad wieder auf die Beine geholfen und Jane und ich haben uns gemeinsam in der Küche ausgetobt. Und ansonsten haben wir alle die Leidenschaft für Abenteuer und Motorräder gemein

We followed this thundertorm half of the day but made it to Jerramungup in the dry.Here we met up with Harry and Jane and stayed for a few days. Harry helped our bike back on it's back feet and Jane and I had several field days in the kitchen. Apart from that we all shared a great passion for bikes and adventures

Nächster Stopp Cape Le Grande Nationalpark, danach ging es über endlose Geraden durch die Nullarbor und anschließen in Richtung Adelaide, wo wir dann wieder eine Anlaufstelle hatten - Sean, ein Motorradfahrer, den wir an der Westküste in Sharkbay kennengelernt haben, und der ebenfalls von der Ferne träumt

Next stopp was Cape Le Grande National Park and then we ride the endless straight roads across the Nullarbor and then on to Adelaide, where we stoped for a couple of nights with Sean who we met at Shark Bay and who also dreams of going travelling

Von Adelaide fahren wir in Richtung Victoria und dort dann entlang der Great Ocean Road bis nach Melbourne. Die Landschaft wird etwas milder und die berühmte Küstenstraße ist definitiv einen Besuch wert - wir haben Glück, es ist noch nicht Saison und somit finden wir immer und überall Campingplätze - mit den Weihnachtsferien wird hier alles nur so überquellen.

From Adelaide we criss cross towards the Great Ocean Road. The landscape is getting milder and the famous coastal road is definitely one of the highlights - we are lucky though, it's just out of season and everywhere still quite relaxed with ample camp space. After Christmas this is going to be chock a block

wir fahren durch Melbourne, erledigen, was wir müssen (neue Reifen für uns, neue Schlafmatte für Frank und dann nix wie wieder raus hier. Die letzte gemeinsame Etappe mit Frank ist die Great Alpine Road östlich von Melbourne - danach trennen sich unsere Wege. Er fährt weiter nach Sidney und wir zurück nach Melbourne, wo wir uns noch ein paar Tage bei einem Freund, Ben,  aufhalten den wir in Malaysia kennengelernt haben. Dann geht es zu unseren Freunden Paul und Kerry nach Tasmanien für Weihnachten und das Neue Jahr.

we only ride into Melbourne to sort out some business (new tires for us and a therrmarest for Frank) and then we quickly leave the big city again to ride one lat road together - the Great Alpine Road which is east from here - then we have to head off into different directions. Frank heads for Sidney and we ride back to Melbourne and pend a couple of nights with Ben, who we met in Malaysia quite a while ago and then we are looking forward to pend Chritmas and the beginning of the New Year with Paul and Kerry in Tasmania
