This picture stands for the second part of our Mongolian tour - Abby Smith has taken it on the way back from the White Lake which was the goal of our week together. There are a few more pictures from Abby which I put in here separately - they will be not in order but one should not decorate oneself with feathers of other birds

Kahn Denkmal - 250 Tonnen Edelstahl - gigantisch, touristisch, schrecklich... schön.

Das Tor zur Wüste Gobi - 2 Übernachtungen in der Wüste. Sandpisten und schwieriges Terrain, scheinbar endlose Weite und Stille (bis auf unser Geckicher und die eine Nacht direkt am Bahngleis mit den Transportzügen nach und von China)

The gate to the Gobi desert - 2 nights in the desert with Sandy tracks, difficult terrain and seemingly endless horizons and quietness (if you don't count our gigling and the night near the rail tracks with half hourly trains with goods from and to China)

Bye bye Mongolia - wir kommen wieder we'll be back!!!
